The original installments from the Crysis trilogy are becoming harder to access. I have only played Crysis 1 on GOG and I want to experience Crysis 2 and 3 as they were made. I would consider playing the remasters afterwards. It is highly valuable to me to be able to own older games without a DRM, so bringing Crysis 2 to GOG would help meet that desire. I believe that I can also speak for others on this topic.
This was one of games that got me to love to fps. I was mainly an RPG and stealth gamer so I naturally invested my skills into my stealth it would be funy to try and kill everything on the map without anyone noticing. And itstead of punishing myself I pushed my self into its FPS game play and ended up loving the game. Kill all the little guys and save all of my ammo for the big guys. I actually still have this siting on my self collecting dust dispite not having my PS3 anymore. It reminds me of a simpler time. And those times are very cherished.
I haven't been able to play Crysis 2 ever and I would love to. I have two copies of the original, three if you count the original DVD of the game and the GOG version just works so well on Linux, no issues. I would love the same treatment for Crysis 2. Never played it and want to, so I HOPE we can bring this to GOG. Let's make it happen!

I remember as kid going to a local electronics shop, they had this big wire container where PS3 games were just thrown inside in a chaoctic way on top of each ocher and you had to dig through to find something. One day I pulled out a game called "Crysis 2", sounded interesting so I bought it, just don't have words to describe the feelings as kid watching that cinematic intro of the nanosuit with Hans Zimmer soundtrack and the gameplay, story and graphics.... I want this game to live forever

I played this game a long time ago and built my own graphics and advanced arcade setup. I'd love to be able to play it again and relive the experience by playing it on the GOG platform.
Yeah this was my first game in the crysis series since my PC couldn't run Crysis 1, but this sequel was able to to be on console. I think it plays differently from the first game in the series, but it is good non the less. Older games like this seemed to be harder and harder to get without DRM. If was manage to get the whole OG Crysis trilogy on GoG and eventually the remaster, that would be great.
Crysis 2 had fantastic multiplayer. Bringing games to GOG, with the elimination of DRM and QOL patches to make them run on modern machines with little to no extra work, is always nice. That being said, if bringing Crysis 2 over to GOG would create new servers for multiplayer and make it active that would be dreams coming true.

One of the best games i played within 30 years. The story is very good and the weapons are great. Its possible to change own strategy to reach the goals. Also the KI of the enemys is ok.
This was the game that introduced me to the Crysis franchise, and I've been a fan ever since. I still remember the first time I laid eyes on this game at Blockbuster Video (You remember Blockbuster, right?) At the time, I had no knowledge about the previous games, knew nothing about Crysis 1, nothing about PC, I was a console peaseant and a huge Playstation fanboy at the time. All of my previous FPS experience had come from games like Call of Duty:MW2, Killzone 2, and Resistance: Fall of Man. All of those games were about running, gunning, non-stop action, twitch-like reflexes, switching weapons on the fly (because it's faster than reloading!), and all the pulse pounding action you'd expect from a shooter! Crysis 2, I realised, to my surprise and later delight, was not of those types of shooters. Crysis 2 was methodical, tactical, and multi-faceted, loaded with verticality, cover mechanics, armour and stealth cloak modes you could switch to ON THE FLY, with tons of opportunities that the game showed you if you were looking, dedicated stealth mechanics like line of sight, hearing, tracking footsteps, tracking targets through walls with minimal distractin, stealth kills, on-the-fly customization of ANY weapon as long as it's in your hand, on-the-fly upgrade system, turrets you could rip off with your hands and carry like master chief, dedicated slots for explosive weapons, the entire game was like NOTHING I had experienced before. I think a lot of fans give this game a bad rap because it's a drastic departure from the previous game, but the game has so much that it does well on it's own that I think too many people dismiss it without much thought. It's streamlined, sure, but it's done in a way that still retains what a lot of people like about Crysis in an easily digestible way and it showed me that not every great fps needs to be like COD or Halo, but can still stand out as it's own unique game.
Those games also need your vote!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
