adaliabooks: It should be sorted now. When I was trying to fix the last issue I put the Hotlink protection on on my server and forgot to turn it off.

Interestingly it would suggest that the witcher goodies may be the only image actually being called from my server rather than GOG

Sorry for late response, that one went away, just checked now, can see the updates again now, so that wasn't AF causing that, or Pale Moon fixed the issue with an update.

All the other issues remain, but I have workarounds to mitigate those, so minor annoyances I must live with until Adaliabooks can find the time & write the code to fix it, as before no time pressure intended by my posting this fact

I can wait for as long as it takes.

That is, I believe, a Barefoot Essentials (Fork) issue, not an Adalia Fundamentals one. And it has already been reported here: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/barefoot_essentials_2_gogcom_enhancement/post1939 (and following posts).

I can have a look into it but that feature was actually made by someone else so I'm not sure how exactly it worked in the first place.

I'll give it a look when I get a chance.


Edit: It was plagren, not sure if they're still around?

So the problem is basically the pictures were hosted on GOG and they've gotten rid of them.

I don't suppose anyone has a copy of them?


Edit: Nevermind, I found a copy on the internet archive and uploaded them to my site. I'll push an update to the script now.

I just wanted to test it and something strange happened. When reloading the page the images are shown for one or two seconds and then they vanish again. Was thinking that uBlock could be the problem but even after deactivating all scripts I could thinbk of it's the same.

Firefox on Win10.

Seems to be working fine in Firefox for me. Can you check the console for errors?
It's just from my site where the covers are, though it's in a different folder, so you shouldn't be blocking it, but that would seem to be the most likely culprit...

I've deactivated every extension - only tampermonkey running and AF.
How exactly do I use the console and what exactly do you need?
F12 does not show any error messages - only warnings.

Maybe I am still using an oler version of AF? Which one is the actual version number?

Yes ... that seems to be it. Apparently the actual version is 1.9.10 which I don't have. I will have to figure out why it did not get auto updated.

Could someone tell me which settings I need to use to let AF get auto updated?
Right now I am suspecting that the link that's in the update section might be wrong ....

Hmm, mine didn't auto update when I loaded Firefox so there may be an issue with the script itself.

Edit: Oh, glad it's working anyway :)

Edit Again: The link seems to be alright, but it might be my fault for doing version 1.9.10, it might not recognise that as being after 1.9.9 (though it should)
