myconv: OK I bought the full game, using Heroic. My Against the storm Demo has not turned into the full game. Now what? Install the full game and uninstall demo?

And uninstall the demo, the demo save should be and remain in the full game?

I don't know. It should not matter a bit, but I left it installed (mostly laziness, with a tiny bit of worry that uninstalling would change some registry entry causing progress to not carry over).

I installed it, it's having me restart from the beginning in tutorial mode Any advise?

Does against the Storm support cloud saving? How do I enable that? Or does it support cloud saving on Steam but not Gog?

I don't know how Heroic works, but I imagine it somehow gave you different wine prefixes for the two games. So do what you said before, look up the save dir in the demo install / prefix, and move it over to the full game's install / prefix.

That's the last tech support I'm doing on this subject.

I got the base game but no expansion. Maybe I'll just stick with base game. There is a aspect to the game that I really hate that I am reminded of. It's terrible save system. You can only save and quite in one action, never separately and otherwise have no control over saves. It's very aggravating when a game is designed to force ironman mode on you like that.

Also some other issues like the difficulty of using the trade system, and wonder if there is any possibility of more QoL updates
