I'm trying to purchase the DMC collection and I noticed that the payment option via PagBank/Boa Compra is not available. I'm concerned because that's my main method of purchasing here. I've contacted support but haven't received a response yet.

That's kinda weird, Hades. I guess near two months ago "BoaCompraWallet" was available to me. As a matter of fact, it's still showing up as a payment option. It's located under "BOLETO BANCÁRIO". Have a look at it again and please tell how it goes for you.
Use o Pix; ou o bom e velho boleto. :)

Yeah BoaCompra wallet it's indeed available to me but not the option of credit card via "BoaCompraCash" I literally got all my games like that, I actually bought using it yesterday... but now it's just gone. The only inconvenience is that using the e-wallet option is a bit slower and asks for a lot more information. Well... I guess I'll buy the DMC collection another time once I figure out what is happening. I'm not using PIX because it's the same as debit so...

Bom eu prefiro não comprar assim, pois caso eu opte por parcelar um PIX ou boleto os juros são bem altos... Uma pena mas vou esperar a resposta do suporte;

I understand what you're saying, Hades. On GOG (and Steam for that matter), I think I paid most games using BoaCompra. I just wanted to add that I never had problems using Paypal in other sites. Please let us know of any information coming from the support team regarding this issue.

See you next time.

Thanks for sharing the information, debiruman_. If BoaCompra is not a payment option anymore on GOG, I believe its little icon should be removed from the E-WALLETS option. I guess Paypal is gonna be my payment choice from now on here. Do you happen to know if BoaCompra was removed from Steam too?

Yes, the method still works on Steam... I got the answer from support. Apparently, it was indeed Gog's choice to abandon BoaCompraCard. I asked if they would keep the e-wallet method, but they couldn't confirm or deny anything. Which is... worrying.

Here's what they had to say about it:

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Please note that we have changed the payment service provider for payments made via credit card in your region. You should be able to see the option to complete your purchase with a credit card directly in the check-out screen. If needed, we may also recommend using PIX as an alternative payment method.

Should you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.
Kind regards,

Lue

I see. That can be a problem. Since PIX is an easier way to pay, it's not as practical as the credit card, in my opinion. I'd like to know if the other methods present are subject to change as well, since there's still a similar way of using the BoaCompra service via the E-wallet option. Will gog at least keep this method? Unfortunately, without my main payment method, I am considering taking my money elsewhere, since the same method is present on other places like Steam.

i've got pretty much the same response, i wonder if they plan to work with another payment service for the credit card transactions, i read on reddit that they use a different service for PIX transactions (i haven't bought anything through PIX to confirm) but boa compra is still there for Boleto Bancario and E-Wallet at least, i guess only time will tell, i hope they at least keep the e-wallet until they find another payment service provider for credit cards
