The Fate of The Forgotten Realms is in Your Hands – with DUNGEONS & DRAGONS NEVERWINTER NIGHTS 2: ENHANCED EDITION, coming soon on GOG!

Return to the city of Neverwinter. A dark force sweeps over Faerûn, ravaging everything in its path as though searching for something – something that you now find in your possession. As the Shard-Bearer, only you can stop the King of Shadows and his army from desecrating the land you call home. Will you save Faerûn, or fall victim to the temptation of absolute power?

Wishlist it now!
Wishlisted for now. Gotta see on release if it has enough meaningful improvements over the Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete Edition to warrant an additional purchase. If not it still might be a good edition for anyone who didnt own the former edition so far.
Sounds good, but the idea of the controller-friendly UI makes me concerned. Will this UI replace the old one? I don't want to be forced to use the console UI on PC.
From people who made Star Wars Battlefront 1+2 set from 10gb to 5x the size now brings NWN2 ~6gb collection to 40gb*?

*50 based on other sources

I hope that changes to camera are worth it.

Speaking of NWN2 - where is Baldur's Gate 2 on NWN2 engine?

Captainchicken84: Why do you call them clowns?
maybe because their Enhanced Editions required additional patching for quite a while, even years... which is ironic considering EE should be improved version of the older games. EE = improved graphics, playable on modern OS and different devices and bugfixes. But they were delivered in a raw state.
And some (most?) people would play longer games (like RPGs) when they're reliable and stable enough to reach credits without bugs or technical issues.

in short - making a choice between Aspyr and Beamdog is like a choosing cholera or syphilis.

Adding controller support has me interested. I wish someone did that to Dragon Age Origins.

I hope to see MacOS version eventually. Been playing NWN 1 on Mac and it's been fun so far.
Will this be bundled with the original? Or can one still buy the original separate?

ARE WE SURE THAT THIS ISN'T BEING PUBLISHED BY SNK CORPORATION INSTEAD OF ASPYR?

As has been mentioned, Aspyr owns Beamdog. They acquired them three years ago. It's entirely possible that the new owners decided to credit future games (like this one) developed by that company with the Aspyr name instead.

I think I've seen confirmation on the steam forums if not mistaken that Beamdog is not working on this one. Their community menager is usually very active there and on reddit
Was the Dungeons & Dragons in the title even neccessary? Who the fuck will call it by its full name?
Hi GoG, will there be an additional discount for those who own the original NWN2?

Well, it is a trademark.

I don't see any ™ in the title. And besides that, it's not even present in the original version.

So in case of a TM in the title your indignation because of the long title would be different? Well, whatever :)

Anyways, our nitpicky doubts will be solved and we will see it in the intro movies showing who is involved exactly in this remaster.

I think the publisher will only give us 10% off .
I've got two questions, maybe someone know:

1. Will Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete still be available for purchase (separately) after the release of NN2:EE?
2. Is there any discount planned for Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete? It's been two and a half years since the last one...
