I know all Trek games have a specific thread, but sales ends soon and those forums looks very deserted. I just want to know in general the Star Trek games run OK? I interested mostly in Elite Force 1-2, Armada 1-2 and Bridge Commander. I know I can refund, but I really want to play those games again (and first time after only experienced back ni it's days as a demo).
Anyway, thanks for any input or answers.

Elite Forces 1 and 2 last I played them which was sometime last year.. theypayed perfectly fine for me.. granted I never played none gog releases of Elite forces 1 and 2 but they was fun and ran fine even looked good for me

Most of the Trek games are quite good, even great. The run Activision head with them is really damn impressive for a license like that. All the games run perfectly fine for me, except for Armada 1 which required some simple tweaking, but that was an old disc copy and not a GOG one.

A quick breakdown about the games themselves, if anyone is interested:
Hidden Evil - probably the weakest one. I still somewhat enjoy it, but it was never great and it aged a lot. The controls are something of a nightmare. If you're a big Trek fan you'll still get a nice adventure out of it, but if there's any one to skip, it's this one.

Elite Force 1 & 2 - outright fantastic games. The first game has a more interesting premise and setting, great fan service, the entire cast of the show. The second game isn't quite as immersively an episode of the show, but the gameplay is even better, and it visually holds up very well.

Away Team - my favorite of all them by a mile. Great Commandos-like tactical gameplay, a whole cast of new characters and a new ship that make it feel almost like a new show in the franchise, very good story, a graphics style that's kind of age-resistant, varied missions... it's an absolute gem.

Armada 1 & 2 - also very good, especially the first one. It has a story that feels almost like a movie bringing together elements and characters from all the TNG era shows, and while the gameplay is very familiar it doesn't feel like just a re-skin of any other game. There's lots of fun elements, like boarding and taking over enemy ships (or assmilating them as Borg), travelling through wormholes, hiding in nebulas. I haven't played the second game in a long while, but I remember it as more polished graphics with a far less interesting story.

Bridge Commander - I loved it to death years ago when I played it first. Trying to replay it last year I oddly bounced off of it. To be honest I couldn't even win any battle playing in the intended "captain mode" giving orders to the crew. I could if I just played it like a flight sim, controlling the ship on my own, but that makes for a very boring game for me. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong...

Starfleet Command 3 - the only Activision Trek game I never liked. But then I never liked the SC series before either. Maybe I'm just too dumb for it, but I found it too involved, too slow, too much to keep track of and not much fun.

Others:
25th Anniversary is a great adventure game, and it's fantastic to have the cast back. It's a demanding game though, and can easily screw you over, you can head down some pretty bad scenarios if you mess up, which is quite easy to do. Probably why I never got through the sequel.

I never played Starfleet Academy (flight sims are not my thing) and already talked about Starfleet Command.

I have all the Star Trek games here. They all run OK on my Win 10 and Win 11 computers. Have fun with some of the best GOG games of all time. :)

Judgment rites is easier than 25th anniversary. You can completely switch off the space combat and in the adventure game sections there are less opportunities to totally mess up and get a premature "Game over". There are still a few (and personally I like the fact that there are), but it shouldn't be overly frustrating. Give the game another try, imo it's pretty much the perfect TOS experience.
Can't really comment on OP's question, since I last played those games on my old Windows 7 laptop. On the merits of the games, I'd say 25th anniversary and Judgment rites are decent to good adventure games even without the Star Trek factor, but absolutely fantastic, if one likes TOS even a little bit. Elite force 1 and 2 are pretty good shooters (though I found the 2nd to be a bit too hardcore in its difficulty). Starfleet academy isn't that great in its gameplay, but still quite fun and has an entertaining story told in cutscenes with some choice and consequences.
