It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

This is getting quite annoying - every time I exit a game, it takes some time to sync saves. Then I do other things, like enter the browser. Suddenly Galaxy is finished with sync, and pops up a notifcation which *steals* application focus! This is really bad behaviour from an application, it should never steal focus.

Can this be fixed, or is it possible to turn of sync notifications in the app?

I'm not at home so I can check, but I'm fairly certain notifications can be turned off.
I have also noticed this, though it's not always happening when notifications appear. And Galaxy is not the only program having problems with that.

I don't think sync notifications can be turned off - I tried looking in the settings.

Really don't see why it even should use a notification to tell the user it's synced. I mean, sync is implicit, there's no need for Galaxy to say "Look at me, I'm a good app and synced your files. Weee!"

Steam just does the sync and only notifies if something is wrong - not even sure it does that. The user should not need to think about sync, it should just work silently in the background.

Good lord this is annoying.

When are GOG going to fix this?
I'm necroing in this post just to share something in the hopes the devs hear it - the more intrusive your app is - the less likely I am to use it. If your app steals the focus while I'm playing (game from another platform) - believe me - first I will make sure this app doesn't startup with Windows, and second - I will do my best to avoid starting it at all.

Seriously, is this still a thing almost 7 years after ?
