Time to fill the hot summer nights with gaming passion.

GOG Summer Sale is now live!

With over 8,000 of the best deals under the sun, it’s one of the biggest sales of the year. Whether you're after timeless classics, indie gems, or modern hits, you’ll find them all at great prices.

There’s no need for sunscreen – just great games and hot deals. Hope you enjoy!

The sale lasts until July 10th, 7 AM UTC.
Not sure how it was for me, as far as i know i just always was out of cash just at the moment when there was a sale and it was just not my first priority as i had in mind "the deal will not go away"... well, i was wrong. I can not even say if this is a Falcom order or publisher-created because it was happening on almost every single Falcom game from different publishers. The only Falcom games with still a affordable price (for most of us) are the very old XSeed titles, but XSeed is gone for a good while already, not anymore publishing Falcom games.

They are not the only ones "pumping up many prices in a wide array", but for sure a good example.

Regarding this game, what makes it worse is that there is actually a Switch version which seems to have all DLCs included with updated translation (definitive edition we would call it) and the full price is just around 45 CHF on my local shop for a physical copy, a high price cut. Apparently Nintendo fans this time are not able to pay as much such as PC gamers, but usually they pay very hard.

The GOG/Steam version could become updated with the new translation as well, i heard, but surely not "official".

I can say for sure, games do not have a fix price... unlike my noodles which got a very stable price. Games are almost like a "stock market", going up and down and gamers simply have to catch the right hour or moment, unless someone is a Porsche driver... they can buy stuff with closed eyes. Albeit, i know of no single rich entity paying more than me for goods. Usually they are more stingy than me, even when it comes to their food which is usually not even organic noodles. Most of them can not even tell the differences between different grains, just if if is from Barilla or perhaps another company. I am not even sure if many of them know the difference between Steam and GOG because in order to tell the difference they need to know GOG first and actually seeing games in a "different light".
