Shocker93: ...I can just download them right now again any time...
Please do, but don't be surprised when those games turn out to lack a few songs because Steam doesn't care that you bought these games before the licenses for those songs expired.

Shocker93: There won't be any world war 3. Not sure what you are mumbling about.
Because our Annunaki overlords are going to take over the world just before it erupts, yes. But we are not supposed to talk about that.

Shocker93: Buddy, All I'm saying is that I own digital copies of the GTA Trilogy since over 9 years, while you are still waiting for it. I can just download them right now again any time. Meanwhile you have to pray for a GOG release that might never happen. These are the facts.
If you were any more tiresome you'd be a Twilight movie.

BanditKeith2: exspecially when having similar enough games to GTA drm-free not quite like GTA sure but close enough
Mosty way better. The GTA games are just about the most bewilderingly overrated games I know of. I'll take The Saboteur or the first Mafia over any GTA any day of the week.

Both GTA 3 and Vice City has all the songs in them. None of them are missing.

Except the first mafia plays like crap. The PS2 era GTA games were not only revolutionary, but one of the best games ever made.

There are several songs where the license has expired and have been removed. If you download the games today, there are less songs in them. For example, from San Andreas you are missing for example "Wow" by Kate Bush, "Bark at the Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne, "Wow" by Kate Bush, "Bark at the Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne, "Wanna Be Startin\' Somethin\'" and "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson, "Killing In The Name" by Rage Against The Machine and "Runnin' Down A Dream" by Tom Petty, and several others. Rockstar now long have the legal rights to use those songs, so instead of removing the games they removed the songs instead.

Agreed though I'd say Saints Row is far more GTA like then the examples you gave especially the early Saints Row games ..Their is also sleeping Dogs aswell

Side note I'd say that the Saboteur is far more Assassins Creed like in its gameplay and mechanics but in ways better then that ip

In the Steam versions of GTA 3 and Vice City none of them are missing. A guy on YouTube called VadimM even has a video about it, and explains it.

hm.... now, I have a quandary... Do I trust my own game files and the news, or a random person on YouTube.... nah, the answer is easy, off course the randome YouTuber must be correct. So I guess i was wrong.
OP doesn't understand DRM-free and doesn't care about it. Kinda hilarious because it's a pretty simple concept to understand.

OP, what are you doing here? Seriously.

I have the games, and I of course tested them out for myself.

There are certain games here that are not available anywhere else. So I'm here because I play games.

Play your games, but don't pretend that you own it or that we don't know what we're talking about please.

Shocker93: snip
They know that PC gamers are much more picky
By releasing a PC copy later, the bugs are flushed out by then :D

There are people who own games but don't play them. Maybe you could get rid of your unnecessary OCD.
