I was now buying the 2 probably "best" Kagura Games i was able to find in order to show my assistance and to set my vote where it might help or hurt... dependable on the position.

Was it a bad deal? Well... nope, i would say "Pray Game" after a good while of playing it is able to be considered a quality game in its own category and "Demons Roots" is as well a game that is able to pass my sense of quality. Although it got a technical flaw as there is some minor "flickering" when i do movement. So far no workaround found, it is most likely a issue because of the weak engine used, not asset related. "Pray Game" is probably using a more up to date RPGMaker engine which is working properly in any aspects.

A flaw both games got it simply the incapability of being able to scale up toward 1080P or full screen. But there is a workaround by using the MagPie-Upscaler Tool which can be booted up from a ZIP folder, so almost zero system resources required. Using it both are running technically on sufficient or even good condition. The assets are good for both games, clearly a enjoyable experience unless someone is running away in fear if any adult content detected. However... both versions are initially heavily censored and without the uncensoring-tool it is probably not much different than many other comparable RPGs.

I actually only got 4 "RPGMaker" engine games, because only 4 of them was able to pass my quality demand; Prey Game and Demons Roots are 2 of them. Gamepad works on any of them, which is important to me.

I like British humor. It brings back the good old days of Monty Python. Great! :-D

A quick search says RPG Maker MV, released in 2015, for both, but Pray Game uses some additional libraries.

Congrats to the choice of Demons Roots. Best story I have ever experienced in any game, movie or book. Does work pretty well without H-content (which can be deactivated) as well. The game has a 4:3 aspect ratio so bringing it to actual 1080p might not be the best idea. You can simple bring those RPG maker games to switch to 4:3 fullscreen (bars left and right on any 16:9 or monitor) by pressing F4 though - no idea how the method you described loos ... might test it myself someday. Since these games have digital controls and the characters cannot walk diagonally I would suggest you to use D-pad instead of stick if you are playing with a gamepad. One addition: if you are using a monitor with a frequency higher than 60Hz the time measuring system will work incorrectly as RPG maker is calculating the gametime based on the number of frames frames it displays. Just in case you wonder like I did when I first noticed on my 144Hz monitor that the displayed playtime in the saves was twice as high than what I actually played.

This reminds me that I still wanted to write a 5 star review for this masterpiece :)
I had no idea RPGMaker games look exactly like magic knight rayearth on the sega saturn 0_0

OldFatGuy: Wow, such AWESOME morals!!! Congratulations Visa on taking a moral stand.

Two human beings making love to each other... BAD AWFUL NO WE WON'T PAY!!

lupineshadow: .Two related family members having sex. Yeah kind of awful

I love how people are blaming religion (and specific religions to boot) when these games are almost by design immoral (and offensive to most people in non-specific situations)
I apologize, but I'm not getting what you're saying here. My bad, I know. But I'm not sure what "Two related family members having sex. Yeah kind of awful" has to do with anything I said (unless you're trying to say that "Two human beings making love to each other" must necessarily mean incest and I have no clue how that leap occurs) and I have absolutely zero clue as to where religion came from though I admit I didn't read the whole thread (it was already well down into page two and my pages are 50 posts each) so I didn't read it all. By neither the OP, nor my post, mentioned, inferred, or even implied anything about religion so, yeah, that one went way over my head.

I'm sure whatever point you're making may be a good one, I'm just not getting it in this post. Again, my bad.

If you'd rather not respond, then perhaps someone else can help me understand what is being said here, because man I'm at a loss as to what your response has to do with my post yet you did post it as a response to my post. Care to elaborate?

OP wasn't clear but as some people clarified e.g. this post most of the games removed from Steam were primarily incest games.
