n_wolf6: Hi everyone,

I'm sorry to inform you that Limbo and Inside will be removed from our store on July 17th, 2025, 3 PM CEST.

We don't have any information on discounts yet.

Wish I could have better news for you, but grab it while it's still here!

CanuckTheClown: Thank you for letting us know!

I just have a question about how games work once they’ve been delisted; say we purchase the game but don’t download it right away, will it still be available for us to download in the future if we’ve purchased it, even after it’s been delisted? Or would we need to purchase it and download it in order to have it for the future?

Thanks!
No you don't need to, it will stay in your library
Thanks for the heads up. Always appreciated
Thanks much for the delisting warning. Limbo and Inside are both excellent titles, grab them while you can.
Any reasonable chance they might come back at some point?
Hope they come back!
It's sad to see these games getting delisted. Hope they come back in the future.
Thanks for the heads up. Got Inside for my collection.
Delistings are important news and should be stickied yet this topic keeps getting pushed further and further down...

Guess GOG doesn't actually care about warning us anymore.

I'm pretty sure why they often aren't stickied is how often users say seriously that they never notice and never see the stickied thread but see the none stickied threads .. in fact that used to quite a common statement you'd see iether in the stickied threads or see in other random threads complaining about not noticing it despite many of them you;d see posting messages in regular general discussion threads ..

Often? I think this is first such case in many months, even at the moment there is another delisting stickied, which clearly seems like a mistake (maybe because the person who usually does that sort of things is unavailable).

And yes, I'm certainly one of those users who subconsciously filter out stickies while looking at the topic list.

I still see the comments commonly enough .. if not in the stickied threads then elsewhere on the forums

But ya its still common enough to see when delisting's threads happen and shortly after a delisting people saying it even

I'm also sure I seen this thread stickied early but after someone complained about not seeing it from being stickied it was desticked.. but I could be mistaken on that especially as I had popped in when tired seeing the threads

Regardless I do believe these kinds of threads need sticked and some of the long standing stickied threads need desticked

It's too cluttered. I said it already more than once, but IMO there shouldn't be any permanently sticky threads, instead it should be used only short-term for the most currently relevant announcements.

What a shame. If delistings need to happen, I wish we had more advance warning. I also wish the games wouldn't get deleted off our profiles (I'm talking about publicly visible achievements, completion milestones, and play time).

As luck would have it, last month, I gave away a copy of each game to the community giveaway. It's nice to know I helped preserve the games, at least for two lucky players.
At least this one has a "reason", even if it is a spat between the developers, which is the bigger shame.

I also echo the sentiment that GOG just needs to get on the ball and make a news page that actually functions, instead of...that dinky little rolling slideshow they're trying to pass off in the middle of a massive sale. It doesn't even have the pagination!
It,s a sad goodbye, those games are amazing. Why they have to go? Hope they back in the future alomg with the new game of Playdead :/
It took me little over a day to finish LIMBO over one weekend, which means a normal person can probably finish it within a few hours. This is a good reminder to play Inside too.

And I don't feel bad at all for it being so "short", it still felt like an amazing little game with a great atmosphere, and I have only fond memories of it.
