Time to rock. Devil May Cry titles are here!

We’re thrilled to welcome Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and Devil May Cry HD Collection to both the GOG catalog and the GOG Preservation Program, fully DRM-free and ready to be played in their best form forever.

Bundle containing both titles HERE.

The timing of this double arrival is perfect, as Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

It’s a joy and an honor to bring this legendary series from Capcom to GOG. Whether you are returning to the action or discovering it for the first time, we hope you create unforgettable memories with these masterpieces.

But Dante isn’t arriving alone. Today, more legends join the GOG Preservation Program:

Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded
Voyage: Journey to the Moon
Star Wars™ Rebellion
Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive
Populous™
Mortal Kombat 1+2+3
Star Trek™: Judgment Rites
Magic Carpet™ 2: The Netherworlds

Earthworm Jim 2
Imperium Galactica

Each of these titles is fully optimized for modern systems, DRM-free, and preserved to remain accessible for generations to come.

Thank you for being part of this journey. With your support, amazing partners like Capcom, and our shared love for games, we are showing that classics do not have to be lost to time.

Let’s keep making games live forever. See you soon!
Hmm, never played a single DMC game. Might be time to give them a whirl. To the wishlist for now.

viperfdl: That makes at least the first one a little bit interesting for me. Thanks for the answer.
Not a problem. Oddly enough, Dino Crisis 2 did the same thing with the 'linear stage clearing'.
I believe DMC 3 might be more similar to DMC1, but don't quote me on that.

The most addictive character action series I've played, if you're only mildly interested in actions games give the series a go. :)

3 and 4 are the most fun, there are so many ways to string fancy combos, the system is quite elaborate, yet simple. :)
Instabuy + all the DLCs for DMC4 SE.
The japanese version of DMC 4 also seems to come with an exclusive extra.
No premium movie for baka gaijins, I suppose.

Anyone know a free/open source VPN that allows to temporarily move to Japan?

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESS! Absolutely great additions to the GOG catalogue.
You made my day. :-)
Fantastic! Instabought. Keep em coming, Capcom!
Devil May Cry very nice, thx capcom & gog.com
Who would have thought that GOG and Capcom would make one day such a good duo :)
Hoenstly you gog in a sense beat my expectations on the fact I doubted we'd get DMC here at all but then again seeing how the Netflix DMC series released this year makes sense.. though it also makes further sense because everyone even none nones hate the Netflix series let alone the DMC fans ..

So I can see why Capcom finally was in a agreement and/or had these cheap enough for Gog to get the okay to sell here

I had to snatch these up .. though I was surprised indeed we didn't get at the start a Sega or Konami game for varies reasons

kultpcgames: Great, that's it. Capcom hasn't just arrived, it's here to stay and will continue to deliver. I'm convinced of that now.
I haven't played DMC, but I would love to see Monster Hunter World on here. I would totally snap that up! :-)

Seeing these other Capcom games being released recently gives me some hope that it may come soon, especially since Wilds was recently released.

That would be great too, but personally, the Resident Evil games, Remember Me, and the Lost Planet series would be even more important to me. :-)
That's cool! I won't play them anytime soon 'cause I would just suck at DMC, but I'm glad they're here now.
Great to see Capcom continuing to support DRM free. Also nice to see more games enter the preservation program.

Are there plans for Saints Row 2 to enter the preservation program? Or maybe add to the one-click mod program with one of the community patches? Or maybe find that official patch that was being worked on but never released?
