[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog (this one)
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic.
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

Sorry to hear that. I'm not a fan of region lock or region restrictions.
Sadly, some countries like Germany has more strict censorship laws.
No clue why Brazil is excluded.

Also no clue why I can't get it in Germany. It's available on GOG and Steam without any problem.

I'd check back later as Falci suggests. Epic is not afraid to go to the court and at the same time works to uphold the local regulations, for good or bad, so censorship is a thing there. But since other platforms offer a German localised version, it's either a licensing issue a simple bug.
Either way, the problem is not EU-wide, redeemed just fine in Cz.

Falci: Funny enough, I can buy it on Steam, here in Brazil, but this offer is also not available here. Though, in times past, very often these things would get unlocked for us, before the offer expired.

I think the only helpless case for us here in Brazil is always the Football Manager series games.
I emailed the devs regarding this. Bureau 81 (The Operator) wrote back in a matter of minutes to say it's being fixed.
I expect Joybits (Doodle God) to follow suit, given that their other games are available in Epic Brazil.

EDIT: The Operator now up in Brazil. That was fast!

At least for Germany the issue is fixed now.

Bear with me here,

In this link of a Greek site, techgear.gr, they have gathered quite a few gems from SEGA, that will probably be removed from the platforms (Google - Apple).

So take the opportunity and register them to your account. (you have to scroll down slowly to the bottom of the page to see the links, one by one)

Can anyone please explain how this works on the App store. You can't claim free games, just Get them, which
downloads them. So to permanently add games to your library you have to download them then delete???

My way to avoid installation on google play is that I would remote install it to one of my old devices (which are all broken at this point lol)
Or, if you don't have any past devices that still connected to your account, maybe you could try pressing install and immediately cancel the installation. I recall that works too, but I'm not sure

Start the download as though you were going to install it and then cancel when the "GET" button becomes a square (showing download progress) by tapping on it. This cancels the download and you can confirm you now own the game as what was the "GET" button now becomes a cloud icon.

DangerPlankton is right. Apple is straightforward. Add it and it becomes a cloud button. This confirms that your account has successfully obtained the license for that app.

Play store? I have no idea. The button doesn't change after I install and uninstall.
