The fast-paced supernatural RPG, Breath of Death VII, has been resurrected and remastered – and it’s now available on GOG!

Breath of Death VII: The Beginning: Reanimated has been rebuilt entirely from the ground up, no grave stones left unturned! Now with completely new detailed visuals, animation, audio, and quality of undead updates while retaining the classic feel and gameplay of the original. Revive the retro parody RPG that captures the magic of the classic era in a streamlined experience! It's to die (again) for!

Now on GOG!
Nice, thanks.
Now only Cthulhu saves the world?
Alright, it's a parody. But of what exactly? Breath of Fire?
Breath of Death VII? That means there's a first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth instalment before this one. Or is it part of a parody of the old RPG sagas we had in the 90s (FFIII, Soul Blaizer 2: Illusion of Gaia, Breath of Fire 2, etc.)?

Haha... Great. I love the retro 16-bit aesthetic, and the music is very reminiscent of the sound style of the great productions of the genre in the 90s. But above all, you can see that the developers have put a lot of love into the game. And that's appreciated.

To the wish list. =)
Guess I could finally get this game, even if not in its original form.

More expensive than the original, but that's OK, as it's still cheap.

The number, i think, is a reference to Final Fantasy 7, which came after "FF3" in the US.

Oh, and the original was 8-bit; this game is actually a 16-bit styled remaike. I hope they add a mode that restores the original 8-bit style.

Too bad, GoG, the release here is once again a few months late. And since the game is DRM-free there too, there's no reason to buy it again here.
Oh wow... I own the original on "some other store" and was always curious why it wasn't here too. Or Cthulhu saves the world.

Instabuy, thanks :)
I would much rather buy the original. I never understood why the developer never brought it and Cthulu Saves the World here when his other games are here. His excuse was pathetic and stupid. Bring the original of this and Cthulu and I will buy them instantly, even at full price. This "remaster", eh, I don't know. Maybe eventually.
Breath of Death VII: The Beginning: Reanimated: Revengence 2: The Quickening of the Electric Boogaloo Episode V: Rise of the Beasts: Revenge of the Colons
Will Goosbumps: The Game be taken down here too on Aug 8?

Why do you ask that?

I think it had to do with inconsistent technical issues with them being older.

Because it seems it'll be removed from distribution everywhere else at least. So will it be rmeoved here too therefor we should rush to buy it if we want, or what?

I see. Do you know why is it being taken down?
I own the game already, so I am in the clear.

I still don't see why you asked the question in a release thread of a completely unrelated game.
