A brand-new side-scrolling entry to the NINJA GAIDEN series – NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound is now available on GOG with a 10% launch discount until August 7th, 3 PM UTC!

Our story begins when Ryu Hayabusa journeys to America to honor his father's will. While he is away, the barrier between the human and the demon worlds suddenly shatters, unleashing a terrifying army upon the Hayabusa Village, which now faces an unprecedented threat in Ryu's absence.

To stand against this new threat, Kenji Mozu, a young ninja from the Hayabusa Village, rises to the challenge! Trained by Ryu, he fights fiercely but soon finds himself in desperate straits. Forced to tap into forbidden power, Kenji sets aside centuries of animosity and forms an alliance with the sinister Black Spider Clan, convinced that combining their souls and skills is the only way to protect the world out of the Demon Lord's grasp!

Now on GOG!
I've been playing it and enjoying it and I feel like I should say it for those who aren't aware:

This game really isn't anything like the old school games. Its not hard and it really doesn't play like the old school games.
I was a little disappointed to find out that it's not like the old school games at all, but that disappointment was then offset by happiness to learn that these are the same guys who make Blasphemous series. I actually had no idea. I LOVE the art style of Blasphemous games

Yeah, this really wasn't marketed as a continuation of those, but more like a combination of old (side scroller) and new (faster, with more moves)
Three Spanish studios are among my favourites for their extraordinary work in developing stories and video games:

- The Game Kitchen
- Péndulo Studios and...
- Mercury Steam. And, of course, there is much more history, talent and development studios in Spain. But I really love the work of these three studios in particular.

It's fantastic that Hispanic talent is also making its mark on this world.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound to the wish list, for now!
