I've played Baldur's Gate 3 and I want to say that it's a pretty crappy game... I think nothing compares to dungeons and dragons. It's a legendary game!

Torment: Tides of Numenera (multiple editions available):
This game is not set in a D&D setting. I know it is called Torment, but the setting is the world of the Numenera pen & paper rpg by Monte Cook Games.
I guess they just used the Torment name and implied Planescape 2 connection for the significance connected to the first game.

One game not mentioned is Stronghold, some kind of city Builder, Empire Builder, wargame, 4x game. Available on GOG, of course
EDIT: oh well, apparently it is indeed mentioned under the RTS label. I recommend the game, it is very singular and not well known

One could make a case for Knights of the Chalice maybe, now that it is here:
"Knights of the Chalice is a 2D RPG with turn-based combat for Windows. The game uses the OGL 3.5, the set of rules at the root of Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, a role-playing game from Wizards of the Coast."
It's not officially licensed, just using the Open Content License, but it plays pretty much like a D&D game.

It really sucks that we'll never get an Enhanced Edition of IWD2.

I remember how I used to play DnD every day! This is probably the best game in the history of games
