Nope, besides being a boomer shooter nothing in common with that indie star. Currently under 200 reviews on Steam. It's also on itch.io, but not on GOG. GOG does have a game with a very similar name, albeit in a completely different genre (looks like some kind of isometric arpg).

This one was released on Steam just this year, along with a few other games of the same publisher using the same game creation toolkit. They have some games released last year too, I assume using the same toolkit. Most of the games by this publisher have different devs, interestingly enough, though a few (but not this particular one) have the publisher also double as the dev.

You got it, your turn!

Out of curiosity, how did you find it?
well I searched steam with the clues you gave, like how many reviews and the date of publication also the genre and that was singleplayer, eventually found the game after a few minutes of searching

anyway next game

While that snakeman(?) spearman looks vaguely familiar, nothing else does. I think another hint is needed :)

It's Shank 2
(using MobyGames is still fair right? at least I don't use reverse image search lol)
Ah, now I know it, the two games have been on my backlog for over a decade.

I'll give the answer in a couple days if no one else gets it.

Edit: Heh, I was ninja'd with the real answer :)

you're right, also I don't consider cheating using MobyGames, since you still have to search
