BanditKeith2: Regardless I do believe these kinds of threads need sticked and some of the long standing stickied threads need desticked

ssling: It's too cluttered. I said it already more than once, but IMO there shouldn't be any permanently sticky threads, instead it should be used only short-term for the most currently relevant announcements.
This. I mean yes, delistings as sticky are great when you notice them. But with this clutter of sticky threads, no wonder people miss them.

KetobaK: Why they have to go?
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/delisting_limbo_and_inside/post3

If you don't already own them, go get them.
If you can't afford both, get INSIDE.
A sad goodbye, indeed. :( Thankfully, I already own both.
Dang. Limbo was just on sale during the Summer Sale
damn.
I played both Limbo and Inside on PlayStation back when, and still have the physical Special Edition of Limbo for PC that came with a bunch of cards, 3D glasses for the game, sticker, and yes: game on disc, plus Steam key. Own the GOG version of Limbo too, will buy Inside here in a moment. Both are masterpieces in mood and design, there is a scene in Inside me and a friend still excitedly talk about from time to time.

Again, if you don't own these yet, get them now that they'll soon be gone from GOG.
Limbo is actually missing 3 patches compared to the other store...If it ever comes back they better update the game.
What happened to Limbo native Linux build?

I see even Humble Bundle (where I got it in the first place) and Steam are no longer advertising it, so it seems it is no longer available for sale anywhere.

Ice_Mage: I also wish the games wouldn't get deleted off our profiles (I'm talking about publicly visible achievements, completion milestones, and play time).
Wait, that happens? Achievements for delisted games are no longer visible on my profile?

I agree 100%. I don't even want them back if they are unable or rather unwilling to do that.

And in my Humble library, there are listings for the Linux and Mac versions but they're empty, with no download options.

After they delisted The Silent Age, all traces of it vanished from my profile page. As you can see from the attached screenshot, the Activity box in GOG Galaxy has also been wiped, although you can see in the Leaderboards box that I got 100% of achievements.

You’re right, it’s the same here. It was still available in late 2023, but no longer is now.

That’s highly worrying, as this is the first time I see a Linux build disappear from a Humble library. Good thing I automated backups from Humble Bundle, or I would have lost access to this game.
Ou this delisting is indeed sad news. I always waited for good moment to get it and play it.

Re:HB. Didn't they wiped all DRM free? I mean I recall some moment there were big changes..

You are right, it looks like HB nuked the Linux and Mac builds from users accounts that I am unsure how legal it is. Currently only Steam has the unadvertised native Linux build. I confirm that it's the default version on Linux.

https://steamdb.info/app/48000/depots/

Edit: This is quite weird. Limbo had multiple Linux ports back then, earliest Linux port was a cheap Wine wrapped port which wasn't performing well. Then another porter tasked to make a proper native port which is probably what Steam also offers.

I checked my HB library to see if other delisted Linux ports are still there. Dear Esther (standalone Source version) and Torchlight had HB exclusive Linux ports provided during few of HB sales of old. These builds can no longer be purchased, but it looks like they are still in the library of the users. So, Dear Esther and Torchlight's delisted Linux builds are still in users' libraries, but Limbo's native Linux build is on Steam as an unadvertised build, yet removed from HB users' libraries. Why?
