Lord_LANbart: what about all the people that bought DoW before the Anniversary Edition Upgrade came to Gog?
I bought the master collection in 2023, and get a 30% discount. You have to actually add it to the cart before the discount works. However, spending over twice what I paid originally for a largely cosmetic upgrade doesn't seem that appealing. Especially since, judging from the "known issues" post on Steam, it seems to be in a kinda early access stage right now. I'll wait to see what state it's in later.

Of course I already tried that, for me it only gives the 10% discount that everyone gets.

Does the DoW Anniversary Edition show as owned to you?

I know it doesn't to me, despite grabbing it in a bundle back in July. Apparently while the only version of the game available on the store was Anniversary Edition, the one bundled in the Warhammer40k Bundle (alongside SM2 and DoW2 which I owned since earlier still) wasn't Anniversary. It's very interesting. And about as discouraging from getting your games here.
This really should have been a free upgrade to everybody who owns War40K Dawn of War Master Collection (base game + expansions). Nothing "new" really in package, just an (good) old game in a slightly better state.

Mafwek: In my opinion, original games have pretty big flaws by modern RTS standards which this re-release supposedly fixes.

idbeholdME: Does it? Can't see a mention of any gameplay changes anywhere.
Alleged changes: improved camera; improved pathfinding; improved controls/actually usable hotkeys; rans in 64-bits so mods like Ultimate Apocalypse are playable now.
"Definitive Edition" and still no Tyranids. Come on, you guys! Coincidentally, there's a rather good mod that adds them - surely it could have been brought under the official game umbrella and spruced up a bit.

Any improvements on the skirmish AI? If not, can we use the old skirmish ai mods on this upgraded version?

Just wondering…
Company of Heroes.... *sigh*
After testing, I think all alleged changes are indeed true.
I do believe I found small bug with Ork HQ and hotkeys, but game is rather good after all, it feels very weird to play with working pathfinding.

My suggestion to Relic is please give us customizable hotkeys because all new sets aren't perfect, but much better than original.
Does this version have crossplay with the Steam version? Do they both connect to the same multiplayer servers?

So the only gameplay change is pathfinding. What specifically changed? I assume AI pathfinding?

Did a new Test. If I add the DoW Anniversary Edition to my cart it says I already own it and the price of the DoW Definitive Edition lowers too, as soon as I remove it the price is back to normal.

Nope, the master collection wasn't upgraded to anniversary, and doesn't seem to exist on GOG anymore. Still counts for the 30% discount though.
